DIY Water Colours

Greetings !
In  the last couple of weeks I had been working on this idea which I had in mind. I was very eager to learn how to make my very own paints and I guess after much research and experimentation I have finally came up with the simplest technique to make water colours from scratch at home.
MATERIALS REQUIRED: Baking soda
                                                 Water
                                                 Food Colouring
                                                 Tray

STEPS INVOLVED: 1. fill half of the compartments of the tray with baking soda.
                                     2. add water drop wise and mix well till a paste of thick consistency is formed.
                                     3. to the above mixture add the desired colour of food colouring and mix well.
                                     4. leave it for drying till the paint hardens.

For best results store them in the refrigerator when not in use.
These paints are easy to use and organic. I would definitely prefer these over the synthetic ones.

If you are gonna try making these do let me know how they turn out to be.
This project might require some practice and you may not be able to see prefect results in you first try. But don't get disappointed. Keep working on it till you master the knack of making the best paints ever !
Till then good bye and have an artistic day !

Zentangle

Hie guys !
Its been a very long time since I posted something as I had been worked up for a very long time. So, here's a new post. This is an  abstract zentangle pattern art. It involves different free hand zentangle techniques that are easy to learn and practice. Personally for me, sketching zentangle designs is a great stress buster. I hope you all will try it too. Do comment below if you want a separate post on different techniques.

Tissue Paper Flower

These are crimson shaded tissue paper flower, simply made by wrap-on one petal technique as I call it. For the stem i have used a household wire and green leafy flower tape. Whereas, for the flower petals I have shaded strips of tissue(butter paper) with crimson poster colour and have cut them into shape of no specific kind. these flowers are a perfect gift to a bridesmaid or they look fabulous in vase as well. Also, they could be turned into a hair accessory. Hope you like it !

Dreamcatcher

Hie my innovative friends, this post of mine is a vintage DIY dreamcatcher with an ostrich feather.
Since I had a couple of ostrich feathers lying at home I thought that this would be the best way to utilise this beautiful plume.
This a very simple project and an amazing holiday give away.
